2009 /10 Match Reports
12th Sept vs Blackpool Rangers Tangerines
First game was a great encounter with Dynamos playing their ex team mates, with Tangerines battling hard., the 1st half ending at 3-0 to us . The 2nd half Tangerines worked hard and unfortunately we conceded a penalty which was scored. The team enjoyed a further 3 goals and ended the match with a 6-2 wont o Dynamos.
Goals Jack Galloway 3 Chopper Fleetwood 1 and Man-of-the-Match Reecie Devlin 2, good start lads.
Second game proved to be a bit of shock for the Dynamos as we started brightly and scored early in the 1st half. Tangerines replied to make it 1-1 and then missed a penalty which we had conceded. Our shell-shocked football continued and we went 2-1 down, the Tangerines playing some good football. The last 10 mins of the match was spent shooting at their goalkeeper who to his credit was very good. Unfortunately our equalizer was judged to be a milli-second too late at the final whistle, but fair-play to the Tangerines they deserved the win. A harsh lesson learnt boys, never expect to win every game even if you have always beaten them, chin-up boys its a long season and we will be up there.... COME ON DYNAMOS
Goals Keelan Kerrigan 1 - Man-of-the-Match-Arran Williams
19th Sept vs Wharton Typhoons
1st game was an excellent start with Dynamos eager and ready to stamp their mark on the league challenge. The Dynamos took an early lead and stepped up their great attacking flair by ending the 1st half at 5-0 in the lead. The 2nd half the Typhoons were more solid and kept us out of scoring range but fortunately we managed to add another finishing the game 6-0 winners. A welcome to Callum Sharrat who started his 1st game for the DYNAMOS and proved he is a great addition to our brilliant squad.
Goals Man-of-the Match Jack Clarkie 2 James Ashton 2 Eddie Peill 1 Reecie Devlin 1
Second Game was a 1 sided game with the Dynamos stamping their presence very early in the match. The team were ruthless and showed their awesome strength and power with every tackle-shot and pass. A mighty performance which was better than watching the Pro's. The game ended 12-0 with 2 players scoring hat-tricks.
Goals Jack Galloway 3 Callum Hogarth 3 Matthew Chol 1 Will Cross 1 James Pegs 1 Chopper 1 and Man-of-the-Match Keelan Kerrigan 2.
3rd October vs St.Annes
1st game - We knew that St.Annes would be a huge test as prior to playing them, we have rarely tested them. Our game was a very tight match with St.Annes and Dynamos sharing many goal-chances. We managed to score a goal in the 1st half and led 1-0 at half-time. The 2nd half was again very close but we really battled extremely hard in the awful conditions. We finished the game winning 2-0 which made me really proud as our effort and energy was brill.
Goals Keelan Kerrigan 1 James Pegs 1. Man-of-the-Match Nic Hartley.
2nd Game was an epic, better than Ben Hur or Man Utd vs Liverpool., we started the match very brightly scoring early and controlling the game. Nearing the end of the first half St.Annes broke and scored a good goal, Start of the Second half at 1-1 St.Annes broke and scored 2 good goal, we were looking down and tired. Until the mighty, awesome comeback started. We scored with 10 mins to go and suddenly our energy came back, we were eager and sprinting for every ball. Another goal made it 3-3 with 2 mins to go, the heavens opened ,it was gale-force winds with rain and the referee considering finishing the game early. But look-out Jack Galloway shoots the goal-keeper unfortunately cannot hold on to the ball and the game is won by the DYNAMOS. A well-fought 4-3 win and it was like the 1966 World Cup for us. St.Annes were very unlucky and I am sure they will be ready for us later in the season.
Goals Jack Clarke 1 Jack Galloway 3 Man-of-the-Match Callum Sharrat.
10th October vs AFC Blackpool
1st game was a very tense match with AFC controlling most of the match, they pressed our team and showed us how to play football at times, had the St.Annes game sapped our energy?? We showed that when we play against teams that are us we can absorb that pressure and when our chance comes we can break and nick one, which we did!! A great pass to Callum Sharrat which he chased from the half way line to beat the keeper with an extremely precious but lucky 1-0 win. A superb performance by Tom Bury kept AFC from scoring and well deserved the MoM award.
Goals Callum Sharrat 1 Man-of-the-Match Tom Bury
2nd Game was a performance that I always thought we were capable of, but today was very very special. We started with a burst of surging wizz and we never let AFC into the game at all. Mattie Chol was like a wizard with the ball glued to his foot, Will Cross like a 10 ft brick wall and nothing got past him. In fact the whole team of Ben, William, Will, Pegs, Chopper, Galls, Mattie, and Nic were electric winning 4-0 against a team that on their are very capable of beating us, so be aware next time we meet.
Goals Jack Galloway 2 James Pegs 2 Man-of-the-Match Will Cross and Mattie Cholmondeley.
17th October vs FC Rangers
1st game was against a team that we have not played before and we played very well establishing our strong early authority on the match, at half-time we led 3-0. On came a new face to the DYNAMOS Jake McVeigh, he played a good second half and played very well, well done. The 2nd half was the same dominance and we finished winning 7-0.
Goals Jack Galloway 3 James Pegs 1 Mattie Chol 1 Chopper Fleetwood 1 Reecie Devlin 1 Man-of-the-Match Jake McVeigh.
2nd match was a very close match, FC Rangers played a very attacking style of football wwhich was excellent to see. We played well in the match and this FC Rangers team scared us a few times. First half finished 3-0 with Keelan Kerrigan scoring 2 awesome volleys. The 2nd half was a much closer game with Fc Rangers scoring a great goals, we dug in deep a squeezed the close game 3-1, FC Rangers are not to be under-estimated and played very well. Well done DYNAMOS and hard-win well earned.
Goals Keelan Kerrigan 2 Cal Sharrat 1 Man-of-the-Match Keelan Kerrigan.
31st October vs Fleetwood Gym
Another team that we have not played before, we welcomed FG for an early kick-off, considering the weather the night before, the groundsmen did well to get the games started on time!! Both games played at the same time and I could have done with another pair of eyes. We played some lovely football in both games today and kept up our our challenge to finish as high up the league as we can. I would like to add that Ben Farmer conceded his first goal in 4 games today and he is proving to be an excellent goalkeeper including Tom Bury who also has been playing brilliantly, I have always said our Goalies are like having an extra player they are that good. We won both games 10-1 and 7-0 including a great Will Cross freekick, 2 volleys from Nic (Anelka) Hartley, hat-trick from Clarkie and 1 out-of-the box from The Delivery Boy who happend to score our 50 goal of the season and win a Nike Premiership ball, lucky Monkey!
Goals in both games Reecie Devlin 2 Eddie Peill 2 Cal Sharrat 2 Keelan Kerrigan 1 Clarkie 3 Will Cross 2 Chopper 1 Nic Hartley 2 Jack Galloway 2. Man-of-the-Match William Hunt and Reecie Devlin.
5th December 2009 vs AFC Blackpool 1st round Coulton Cup
For a 1st ever Cup match it proved to be an absolute epic, the whole of November was lost due to ploppy wet weather. Think our home games should be in the Algarve from next season in winter??
Yet again we played AFC Blackpool which are always great matches, 1st half of the first match the ball would not go in, AFC's goalkeeper was like a brick-wall and saved eveything. For the first time this season the particular team that were playing were 1-0 down at half-time. I could see the fruistration in their faces that they had so many chances but no goals. Half-time chat and I said to them to keep playing exactly the same way and keep pushing which they did. 2 great goals from J. Galloway saw Dynamos take a 2-1 lead which was excellent and well-deserved. The game finished 2-1 to Dynamos which on balance was fair and set us up well for the 2nd game.
Goals J. Galloway 2 man of the match Arran Williams
The 2nd game was a fantastic cup-tie with both teams having many early chances. It was like watching a close boxing match but without the punching!! We took a lead in the 1st half with a goal;from E. Peill and started the 2nd half at 1-0 up. The start of the 2nd half saw us under pressure early on and AFC struck back to take a 2-1 lead levelling the match at 3-3. The pitch was starting cut up and we looked like we were tiring, as we looked as though things were slipping away N. Hartley scored to draw level at 2-2 with the tie being 4-3 to the Dynamos. It the last dying seconds AFC shot and towards goal it was going in and a very brave player tried to clear it but unfortunately it went in. Final whistle a we narrowly lost 3-2 with tie ending 4-4. What a crcking couple of Cup-matches. Watch out AFC we will be sharper next week and raring to go. Welcome Tom Burrows, a good solid start to your Dynamos career, sure the goals will come soon.

12th December AFC Blackpool Replay Coulton Cup
This match was in perfect conditions, bit chilly but sun out and their pitch was in great condition. You tell that we were eager to get on the pitch and play Dynamic football. The fact the the whole of November was lost to the bad weather and we had missed 5 weeks may have hampered us last week, but this week was a different story.
1st game was very close although the match which was similar to the week before. The Dynamos were psuhing on the offensive all of the time. We had many chances again with the woodwork being struck several times. We are looking much sronger nowadays and are not easily pushed off the ball anymore. We rarely looked like conceding although the team were wary about last week, Some sperb examples of beautiful football and clinical nman-marking was the difference in this game. J. Galloway scored the only goal of the match giving us a slender 1-0 lead in the Cup-tie. Big-up for Mattire Colmondeley for trying to play even though he had been sick and unwell, you spirit is indicative of our football team a true DYNAMO.
Goal Jack Galloway 1 Man of the match William Hunt
The 2nd game was opportunity for 1 or 2 players to restore their pride as they felt they had let themselves down. FOR A HUGE REMINDER GUYS - YOU NEVER LET YOURSELVES, SUPPORTERS OR ME DOWN EVER. The game started tight and we seemed a little edgey, we looked very much in control and I felt we needed to be patient and not panic to score early.. We scored a much needed goal by C.Sharratl which seemed to relax us and we did not seem to look back. Some nice passing and pride was being majorly restored. We ended up wining 3-0 and 4-0 overall.
Next round of the Cup here we come with a home tie against South Shore to come next round

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
16th January 2010 vs South Shore at home 2nd round Coulton Cup
Yet another 5 week break!!! With the wonerful snow stopping us from playing any football and somebody called SANTA, well how inconvenient can you get. I will be 1st to say that I really missed footie, although the break was nice.
The 1st game was a brilliant game of football with some fantastic battles and some sublime skills. The first half was so close with South Shore and Dynamos sharing many chances but nothing clear cut. We pressed with the wind (not trumps!!!!) behind us and could not seem to break them down. The 2nd half started at 0-0 and we were raring to press and pressure South Shore which we really did. Their goalkeeper was in superb form saving everything that was hit a him, the last 12 minutes I counted 14 Dynamo shots on target and 1 in particular did not go in because of the muddy goal-mouth, I am not biased but our 2nd half performance was a football-mauling. Guys you have learnt today that no matter what, sometimes that ball just wont go in.
Result 0-0 Man of the match Jack Fleetwood
The Second game was a fast start with Dynamos creating many chances. the guys knew they had to start brightly and try and score early. The first 12 minutes of the game was proving to be frustrating and our chances were'nt going in. Was this going to be repeat of the first game?? NO! Tom Burrows scored his first goal for the Dynamos and swiftly notched a 2nd, his grand-parents looked well-chuffed. After a couple of goals went in we piled the pressure on scoring another 3, which fouynd the Dynamos 5-0 up, South Shore did not lose faith and scored, the game ended 5-1 and we won the overall tie 5-1. Good game for the Dynamos and continualy pressed to score goals.

23rd January Friendly vs Spirit of Youth
Welcome Paul Hargreaves to the Dynamos, Paul knows more than 50% of the team already, but you are settling in well and I am sure you will enjoy your time with us. First game on was a good game played in a nice manner, we struck early with a goal from Callum Sharrat. Our midfield attack with great pace and I am sure will scare every other team for years to come, but they learnt that if you attack too much you may forget to come back, hence Spirit leveling the game 1-1 at half time. We grouped together and had a motivational chat. What a 2nd half, the passing was TOP with some real good understanding. 2 more goals and another 1 from Spirit finished the match at a Dynamo victory 3-2. Defencivley we are looking strong at present and the goals were not errors just good Spirit play.
Goals Edward Peill 1 Callum Sharrat 1 Paul Hargreves 1 Man of the match Chris Sargent
2nd game was like watching Man Utd, they battled hard and no stopped chasing the ball, with some lovely possessional passing left me feeling really proud. We took an early lead showing how strong/powerful we have become and then raced to a 3-0 lead at half-time. The 2nd half carried on with continual attack and some wonderful understanding in this team. The benefits of not changing too often are really showing nowadays. It showed that the week before we could'nt get the ball past the keeper, well this week we attacked with a real menace. We ended up winning 6-1 whcih was great and has filled the team with real belief that they are capable of beating anyone. Goal of the day, cross from Mattie Cholmondeley and Jimmie Ashton header like Frank Lampard!

30 January 2010 vs Fleetwood Gym
First game was a very steady start for a much improved Fleetwood Gym. We looked very very solid and not much got through our strong defence. We were lucky to get the game on but the Lord was looking favourably on us. We passed the ball well and communicated much better this week and patiently bulit up our game. A jack Fleetwood hat-trick was very well -deserved from a player that has improved tonnes, make sure you get £10 off ya dad Chopper!! A very clever corner and THUNDERBOLT from Will Cross nearlly snapped the net in half and Nick finishing a very impressive victory. Excellent half from Jake McVeigh not putting a pass wrong and showing that he improving evey week. Get well soon Crossy the team crossing their fingers for you.
Goals Jack Fleetwood 3 Nicolas Hartley 1 Will Cross 1 Man of the match Jake McVeigh
2nd game saw a very resiliant Fleetwood Gym team, they were solid in midfield and held frim against our attacking team. A slight change early after 13mins seemed to surprise Fleetwood and led to Callum Sharrat notching 2 goals and take a nice lead into half-time. The 2nd half was tight at times and Fleetwood were certainley a much improved unit. I am so glad the team took both matches seriously and gave Fleetwood Gym the respect the have well earned. The game ened Dynamos winning 5-0 with a goal from Reecie Devlin and another from Callum Sharrat. Again some very good understanding in this team who are becoming equally as strong as the other.
Goals Callum Sharrat 4 Reecie Devlin 1 Man of the match .
